COFFEE MORNING - The Macmillan coffee morning held in Monkland on September 24, raised a massive £930. Wendy Jancey thanks everyone who came, sent generous donations and draw prizes and helped at the event.
HARVEST FESTIVAL - The service takes place on Sunday at 11.30am in Monkland church, followed by harvest lunch in the village hall. Lunch costs £5 for adults, £2.50 for children. Tickets from Janet Butler on 720180 or Wendy Jancey on 720265. Non-perishable gifts for the harvest this year are for Hereford community larder, with tinned foods, rice, pasta, etc, welcome at the service or to Janet Butler at The Hollies.
