CHILDREN at Kingsland Pre-School learned about road safety thanks to the Kingspan Insulation Community Trust.
Kingspan Insulation set up the trust to provide funding for community projects in Shobdon, Pembridge and Kingsland and the decision was taken to help the pre-school which is run as a charity.
The trust has enabled the pre-school to purchase outdoor equipment to learn about road safety so it does not have rely on sharing equipment with Kingsland Primary School.
"This has benefited the children enormously and enables us to educate them regularly about the dangers on the road," said Juliet Pudge of the preschool.
John Garbutt, trust chairman, said: “All of us at the trust are delighted that we have been able to help Kingsland Pre-School educate the children in such a fun and practical way on a topic that will stay with them forever.”
The pre-school looks after 24 children, aged between two and five, and operates four days a week from Kingsland Village Hall.
