HAMPTON Court is the venue for a series of open air theatre events presented by Chapterhouse Theatre Company this summer, starting with A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Thursday, June 10.
There is more Shakespeare on June 24 and July 1 with performances of The Merchant of Venice and Much Ado About Nothing.
Georgina Sherrington (Mildred Hubble in the children’s TV series The Worst Witch) will be appearing in this year’s tour of Beauty and the Beast, which can be seen at Hampton Court on July 29.
Georgina joins Chapterhouse to take the lead role of Louisa, a young 1940s’ evacuee, who, with her close friends, is inspired to create a brand new performance of Beauty and the Beast, a show that will delight children and adults.
The final Chapterhouse production at Hampton Court will be Pride and Prejudice on August 19.
