VULNERABLE youngsters from Ross-on-Wye have blossomed into award winning gardeners.
Ten who are under the care of the Supported Housing for Young People project took silver at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show last week.
Residents at the charity's Ross foyer were supported by experts and an outreach team in the green-fingered scheme.
Their garden, called "Drug Scene - how toxic are you?", included a medicinal man standing alongside toxic and healing plants.
The plants were all grown in Ross and were placed in the body regions which they benefit.
