HEREFORDSHIRE European Tour professional David Park is hoping to return to action today in the Daily Telegraph British Masters at The Belfry after missing the last couple of tournaments with a knee injury.
Park twisted his knee in practice and, although he travelled to Spain, the problem flared up on the eve of the Spanish Open at San Roque forcing him to withdraw. The injury was diagnosed as a strained medial ligament and a course of rest, light exercise and physiotherapy was advised.
He has just started to hit full shots and will play a practice round before deciding whether to play.
