Hereford United 1 Swansea City 1
HEREFORD'S young Bulls finally picked up their first point of the Football League Youth Alliance South West Conference season with a deserved draw against Swansea's youngsters.
The point provided some measure of revenge for a 9-0 hammering at Swansea earlier in the season.
In an even first period, Hereford held their own with their best chance falling to Tom Harding. But in injury time, a misunderstanding between Adam Bain and goalkeeper Daniel Taylor allowed the visitors to take the lead.
Skipper Adam Worton might have levelled at the start of the second period when he found himself one-on-one with the Swansea goalkeeper only to slam his shot against an upright.
But Hereford deservedly levelled when Worton's corner was headed in by Ashley Day.
In the closing stages, Day avoided getting on the scoresheet at both ends when he deflected a Swansea shot goalwards only for Taylor to produce an excellent save.
