Hereford'S Royal National College for the Blind unveiled its much heralded new look this week.
The college has put in a planning application for the redevelopment of part of its Venn's Lane campus, the details of which were revealed by the Hereford Times recently.
Central to the application is a centre of excellence for sport and complementary therapies that the college hopes can attract organisers of the 2012 London Olympics and be the base for a range of disability sports.
There will also be a new accommodation "village" for students.
Herefordshire Council planners will rule on the application at future meeting.
