HEREFORD United's promotion clash with Stevenage Borough has been moved from Saturday, February 25 to the following Monday, February 27, after the match was selected for Sky TV coverage.
The decision provides a cash bonus of £5,000 for the Bulls but this is offset by a probable loss of travelling support from Stevenage and a loss of income from sponsors who had selected the match because it was due to take place on a Saturday.
Overall, however, United director of football Graham Turner was not unhappy.
"I like playing under lights at Edgar Street because I think we get a better atmosphere," he said. "We also can't complain about the move because of all the good work done by Sky in raising the profile of Conference football."
