Aston Ingham fruit farmer David Moreton believes that wind-turbines planned for near his fields will affect the microclimate and his crops.
Green Amps Ltd hopes to put two turbines on a ridge at nearby Withymoor Farm.
Mr Moreton fears that the change in wind flows could bring in more hail and frost and reduce pollination.
He said he is considering taking out £25,000-a-year extra insurance against possible crop damage.
Jane Bradney is chairman of the action group Save our Scenery, set up in response to the proposals.
She said: "We take the potential threat to Mr Moreton's livelihood very seriously."
At a recent public meeting, Nick Brown, the chief executive of Green Amps Ltd, said the impact of the turbines on the local microclimate would be minimal.
