Harry Potter actress Sheila Allen starred in a play at the Falcon Hotel, in Bromyard, last week and raised £250 for St James's Church, Stanford Bishop.
Sheila, whose parents were married in the tiny Norman church and has family in Bromyard, appeared last Friday in a one-woman, one-act play called To My Man.
The play, about a woman coming to terms with the death of her husband, was organised to raise money for the 11th Century church, which is in need of refurbishment.
The London-based actress plays the First Witch from the Ministry of Witches in the Harry Potter film The Goblet of Fire.
"It's given me great street cred as a grandma," said Sheila, whose grandchildren are both Harry Potter fans.
