Bromyard gave a good account of themselves against a very strong Hereford team in this HFA Floodlit Cup tie.

BROMYARD TOWN 0, HEREFORD UNITED 4

The home side could have taken the lead in the first ten minutes when Chris Allen's cross flashed across the visitor's goal but nobody was on hand to stab the ball home.

Two defensive errors saw the Bulls go 2-0 up after 25 minutes and they got a third in the 40th minute with a well-worked goal.

Bromyard should have pulled one back just before the break but Allen's shot went over from close range.

Bromyard showed real determination in the second-half only conceding one more goal late on.

Although Hereford's superior fitness, slick movement and passing was a joy to watch for Bromyard's biggest crowd of the season.

BROMYARD TOWN RES 2, WYRLEY 4

THIS was a much improved performance by Bromyard's Reserves the game being level at half-time with Aaron Drake and Kieran Powis on target for Bromyard.

Wyrley scored twice just after half-time to finish the game off although Bromyard fought bravely for the entire 90 minutes.

Kington 0,

BROMYARD TOWN 0

BROMYARD'S poor league form continued when they could only manage a draw at lowly Kington in a local derby.

A much changed team for the visitors plus a lack of good finishing cost them two more valuable points. Bromyard dominated for long periods of the game but were unable to break down Kington's rearguard.

The visitors created numerous chances but lacked conviction.
