A father-and-son team from Newent are proving old cars and the challenge of rallying go together.
In a Mini Cooper "S", Matt and Dood Pearce finished fourth overall in the historic category of the Armajaro British Historic Champ-ionships at Pickering in north Yorkshire last weekend.
This was the Pearce's fifth class placement in rallying this year and their highest result so far.
The race was over 62 miles of challenging forest roads.
