MOSELEY'S new Billesley Common ground has been chosen as the venue for two North Midlands representative matches this season.

North Midlands Under-19 will play Warwickshire at the ground on October 26, followed by a National Under-20 Championship match between North Midlands and Oxford University on Sunday, March 5.

North Midlands Under-19 also played Warwickshire at Broadstreet this week in the first of two games to decide the Sable's Head, the trophy awarded annually to the aggregate winners of the inter-county clash.

The other games at under-19 level will be against Middlesex at Dudley Kingswinford on November 13, and Yorkshire at Old Griffinians on November 27.

The county's under-20 squad will warm up for the National Championship with games against Cheshire at Whitchurch on December 11 and Middlesex at Staines on January 15.

They will launch their quest to reach a Twickenham final with trips to Notts, Lines & Derbyshire at a venue to be advised on February 5, and Warwickshire at Broadstreet on February 19, before they entertain Oxford University in their final group match.
