HEREFORDSHIRE under-13 teams are in with a chance of playing at Bolton Wanderers' Reebok Stadium in a new national competition.
The Tesco Under-13 Cup is the largest ever home nations tournament for under-13 boys, with more than 2,200 teams from all over the country taking part.
Teams will play at county, regional and area level to find the national champions with the four national winners from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland competing to become overall champions next May at the Reebok Stadium.
Tesco's sponsorship has brought a donation of £2,000 to the Herefordshire Football Association, whose secretary Jim Lambert said: "The support of Tesco will widen the perspective of boys playing football, giving the opportunity to play against boys from outside the county."
