Bromyard seconds went down to another disappointing defeat but only after bowling out table-topping Malvern seconds for 164.
Left-arm swing bowler James Brown picked up his second five wicket haul of the season, finishing with 5-66 and he received excellent support from off-spinner Dan Mills, who finished with 4-36.
Malvern's total was based around 45 from D Besgrove and 42 from Jonny Dovey.
Besgrove continued his fine all-round day by taking 4-3 as Brom-yard were skittled for 79 in reply, vice-captain Brian Pursall making the only significant score of 22.
The result leaves the seconds just six points ahead of bottom side Cookley, but they travel to Netherton tomorrow (Saturday), one of the two sides who Bromyard have defeated so far this season.
