STROLLERS won their league match at Hay to ensure they had won every game this season.

Hay batted first and struggled against the new ball, slumping to 13-3 from the first 7 overs. Joe Provis scored 56 (7 fours) and was the mainstay of the Hay innings. He was assisted by D Laurie (14) in a 4th wicket stand of 43 and D Cooke in a 6th wicket stand of 44.

When Provis was the 7th wicket to fall, he became Mark Powell's third victim of the day, and the home side were running out of batsmen.

The innings was closed by Rob Bentley-Taylor's off-spin, as he took three wickets in a short spell.

The Strollers reply also got off to a poor start as Joe Provis continued his good day, removing both opening batsmen with just 15 runs on the board.

The run chase was put back on course with a 3rd wicket partnership of 68 between James Powell (47) and Rob Bentley-Taylor (41no). Powell was the more assertive, striking seven 4s and a 6, before he fell only three runs short of his first 50 of the season.

Hay were then unable to make any further breakthrough's as Bentley-Taylor was joined by Mark Powell (22no) to score the 54 runs required for victory, and give the visitors maximum points.
