TRAFFIC queues after last weekend's Big Chill Event at Eastnor, have led to renewed calls to improve Ledbury's road network.
Herefordshire councillor Barry Ashton said he was caught up in a two-mile jam into town on Monday.
He said bypasses to Worcester and Hereford were badly needed to channel traffic away from the town centre.
"The Big Chill makes a major economic contribution to the town and there are other events coming up, like the carnival," he said. "People will stay away if they are faced with hours of traffic queues."
Herefordshire Council transport manager Richard Ball said there were proposals in the five-year local transport plan for a link between the Bromyard road and the Hereford road, but there were no plans for the Worcester road.
"The Hereford link depends on private sector funding and at the moment there are no plans for a scheme on the Worcester road," he said.
