THE future of Leadon Bank residential home was being discussed by Ledbury Town Council at last night (Thursday).
Councillors were to decide whether a referendum should be held into Shaw Healthcare's plan to re-site the home on Orchard Lane.
Opponents held a meeting last week and decided to push for a referendum. They feel the multi-storey development would be too tall, too dominant and too close to the road.
The town council would need to formally request a referendum via Herefordshire Council and foot the £2,500 bill.
