MORE than 400 people enjoyed the best of British music and food during a Proms evening at Wintours Green in Dymock.
Rousing anthems, including Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory were performed by the Bretforton Silver Band on Saturday (August 6). A pig roast and refreshments also helped keep spirits up.
The event is one of many organised by the Friends of the Beauchamp Arms in Dymock.
Pub spokesman John Griffiths said: "It was a very successful evening, lots of people turned out.
"It's the third year we've done it now."
Mr Griffiths said proceeds would go towards keeping the silver band running.
A tug-of-war event will be held at Wintours Green on Sunday, August 28, with a Christmas party at the pub on Saturday, December 10.
