ROB PURDIE (21): (Midfielder, 28-9-1982, 5'9'', 82+37/14) After being the most improved player of the season in 2003-4 when he forced his way into the England National Game set-up, the last campaign turned into one of disappointment for the skilful midfielder. An injury in the previous season's play-off semi-final hampered him through pre-season and it was only after Christmas that he began to show some of his true form. The former Leicester City trainee now needs to be a more regular goal-scorer in addition to showing his undoubted talents on a more consistent basis.
