THE Horse Trials at Berrington Hall on Saturday, and Sunday were a great success in every way.
The weather was marvellous, the going good, the new cross country fences challenging but inviting.
With the welcome support of the National Trust who had a stand and with Lord Cawley, the new president, presenting the prizes there was an extremely happy atmosphere .
Approximately 500 competitors took part and they all brought their families and/or grooms. Together with more than 150 officials there were a vast number of people at the event.
