HEREFORD and County Athletics Club gained 13 first places and four second places, competing in a match against Yeovil, Sparkhill, Bromsgrove and Redditch at the final meeting of the UK Athletics Young Athletics League at the Roger Bannister Stadium, Bath University.
In the under-17 boys competition, Josh Day picked up three first places in the hammer, discus and the shot while under-17 girl Anna Robertson had a double success in the shot and the discus.
In the under-15 girls competition, Vanessa Brann notched a double success in the 1,500m and the discus while team-mate Sophia Day had firsts in the shot and the javelin.

Under 17 Girls: Anna Robertson Shot 7.90 1st A, Discus 17.98 1st A, Javelin 14.89 3rd A.
Under 13 Boys: Joe James 200 m 31.5 3rd A, 100 m 15.0 4th A, Long jump 3.60 4th A, Joe Maddy 75 m Hurdles 17.1 1st B, 1500 5.24.5 2nd A, Shot 4.22 2nd A, Finn Spencer 75m hurdles 3rd A, 100 m 15.4 3rd B.
Under 15 Boys: James McCloud 100 m 15.2 4th A, Pole Vault 3.00 1st A, Long Jump 4.00 3rd A, Daniel King Shot distance to be confirmed 4th A, 1500 m , Long Jump 3.31 3rd A.
Under 17 Boys: Josh Day Hammer 36.24 1st A, Discus 31.56 1st A, Shot 12.58 1st A, Eric Spink 3.70 1st A, Long Jump 5.49 1st A, 100 m 12.4 3rd A.
