STEAM RALLY - The 25th anniversary of the Steam and Vintage Rally is being celebrated at Boatside Farm Hay-on-Wye on Sunday starting at 10am.

Among the many attractions MP Roger Williams, AM Kirsty Williams and four local dignitaries will try to build a tractor from bits in 34mins.

The day will also see Trevor Hill's falconry display, steam traction engines, vintage cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, motor and pedal cycles, stationary engines, fair organs and grandad's collection.

There will be a model tent with craft demonstrations, children's entertainment, a tug-of-war competition, steam rack sawing, rare breeds of poultry, blacksmithing and other skills

Weather permitting there will also be helicopter rides, while completing the attractions will be a car boot, auto jumble and trade stands. It promises to be a great family day out

Dial-A-Ride from Rally car park, refreshments, licensed bar applied for, facilities for the disabled.

Part proceeds will go to local charities
