MOUSE RACING - An enjoyable evening of entertainment and fund raising was held on Monday evening. Dr and Mrs Lias had kindly allowed their idyllic garden to be used for the event, and the Burgoyne's marquee that had been erected and beautifully decked out for their daughter's wedding. Over £1,000 was raised for church funds.

PARISH MAGAZINE - Articles for the Parish Magazine should be submitted to Mrs Jane E. Burgoyne (01544 340 272, jeb@nashsoak.plus.com) by August 18 for inclusion in the two-monthly magazine. The next edition will be published at the end of August. The magazine is now delivered free to every household in the parish.

PARISH COUNCIL - The next parish council meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall on Thursday, August 18 starting at 8pm.
