THERE was no row when more than 300 young people took part in "The Noise" to tidy and brighten South Wye.
A weekend of activities, including landscaping, painting and decorating were undertaken as part of the fifth annual Noise project.
The event began with a dance before the teams set about a variety of tasks.
Marcelle Lloyd-Hayes, Mayor of Hereford, launched the project that helped to give a facelift to South Wye and praised 2XL Projects Ltd which organised the initiative.
"This event goes a long way to dispel the often negative attitude towards young people," the Mayor said.
"They have fun, make new friends, meet people and make a big difference to many people's lives."
