JAMIE PITMAN (8): (midfield, 6-1-1976, 5'9", 146+8/14) You would have to look very hard to find anyone with more commitment to the cause on the pitch than United's midfield dynamo who played consistently well despite a hernia problem at the end of last season. With that now repaired, United fans will be hoping for more of the same from the only current player who can recall what it was like to line up for Hereford in a football league match. Pitman signed originally from Swindon Town and subsequently spent time at Yeovil and Woking before making an excellent impression on the return to the city in which he has made his home.
