DANNY WILLIAMS (7): (midfield, 2-3-1981, 5'9", 74+8/10) After an excellent first few months, a mid-term dip in form last season saw Williams, who will be starting his third campaign at Edgar Street, lose his place for the amazing match at Dagenham. He responded superbly by coming on to score twice, one a contender for goal of the season, before sustaining an injury which prevented him from starting another match until the play-off semi-final second leg when his rustiness was plain to see. After the departure of Michael Rose, Williams should now have full rein to display his skills in dead-ball situations. Skilful and quick, perhaps this will be the season when he really makes himself indispensable.
