AFTER cancellation of the first four games due to waterlogged greens, Eastnor bowlers finally got their Year 2000 season rolling with a friendly triples at Woodlawns BC.

As a mixed club, Eastnor has always championed teams consisting of ladies and gents and can be duly proud to have been responsible for a combined team from the ladies and gents County Bowling Associations visiting Eastnor for the penultimate game in 1990 - quite an achievement!
This fixture has continued to be played every year since and marks as one of the most popular.
The one in the new Millennium will be celebrating Eastnor's 70th Anniversary. This occasion will also be honoured with a visit from a select team from the English Bowling Association on Monday, June 26.
