SPORT England, the country's premier sport development agency, distributed more than £1billion nationwide over the last six years.
The West Midlands office of Sport England made the announcement at a special event attended by clubs from the region at Worcester.
The West Midlands office distributed £70,327,822 over the last six years and £545,381 of that went to Hereford, one of 12 regions in the area.
