BOTH Leominster ladies' and men's A teams enjoyed winning starts to their campaigns in the summer Hereford and Worcester League.
The ladies, who play in Division 1, had a good 4-2 victory against Boughton Park, a side from Worcester Golf and Tennis Club.
Sarah Snell and Glynne Hall produced two wins out of two, while Jackie Burton and Helen White won their first match in three sets but lost their second encounter.
Jenny Ellerton and Megan Knipe then lost their first match but rallied to take victory in their second clash.
In Division 3, the men maintained their two-year unbeaten record an excellent 5-1 win at Droitwich. Alan Corder and David Hillyard picked up a duo of straight set triumphs, while Tim Eaton and Bryan Leech were also undefeated.
