STREET COLLECTION - Brecon and Radnor branch of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children thank everyone who contributed in a recent street collection in Brecon town centre. The charity raised £135 from the day.
HOSPICE - Usk House Hospice in Brecon is now £750 better off, thanks to a donation from the Harley Davidson Riders Club of Great Britain.
YOUTH CHOIR - Two young people from Powys have been chosen to sing in the National Youth Choir of Wales, singing all over Wales. Kathryn Bailey from Brecon, and James Jones from Llanymynech, were chosen from the nation wide search to be part of the 80- person choir.
