DRAW - Winners in the village's cricket club's 2000 Grand National draw were: Mr R J Williams £75, Mr C Gurney £40, J Leighton £25 and Mrs H Gammond £10.
OUTING - Women's Institute members are having a half-day outing this afternoon to How Caple Gardens, meeting at the village hall at 2pm. The coffee morning raised about £110 for Marie Curie nurses.
ROADWAY -t a parish council meeting, it was noted that the roadway at Knightshill was still dangerous. The highways department had reported the narrow road had been provided with warning lights but these had been stolen.
