HEREFORDSHIRE under-16 squad have been presented with a trophy and medals from the All England Netball Associa-tion for winning their Division 6 Merit Table.
They received the award at the annual presentation night of Hereford-shire County Netball Association, attended by England internationals Fiona Murtagh and Lucia Sdao.
Other junior accolades went to Gemma Godding (under-16 player of the year), Josie Finnegan (under-18 player of the year and players' player) and Emma Bordeway (most improved player).
Senior awards went to Sue Woodrow (player of the year) and Mandy Lisseman (players' player), while Di Hickinboth-am received the umpire's cup.
Toni Douthwaite and Jackie James were both honoured for their contributions to netball.
County chairman Andy Douthwaite thanked Herefordshire Sports Council and Brooks Soft Drinks for their support.
