Leominster'S Nick Hill became the Herefordshire Target Shooting champion and winner of the Jack Edwards Cup with a composite score of 776 out of a possible 800 in the county championships at Bromyard.
In the two competitions which decided the championship, he claimed first place in the Scottish Match with 575 out of a possible 600, also winning the Graham Holland Cup, and then third place in the English Match with 582 out of a possible 600.
He completed a successful weekend by winning the President's Tankard, the county knockout championship - by beating Bill Parry (Golden Valley) in the final - and then took the Open Pairs with partner Robin Hughes (Bromyard).
Charles Foster (Bromyard) took the junior title with a score of 645 out of 800, and Bob Jones won the veteran's title when he scored 759 out of a possible 800.
