HEREFORD'S ABC Cinema will be continuing to show the sci-fi drama 'Frequency', starring Dennis Quaid and Elizabeth Mitchell in the evening slot. The younger audience will certainly enjoy the preceding 'Drive Me Crazy', starring Melissa Joan Hart, who plays the lead role in 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch'.
The Coliseum Film Centre, Brecon, is featuring the sword-and-sand epic, 'Gladiator', starring Russell Crowe and Oliver Reed for a week from Friday. Also showing is the controversial World War Two film 'U-571. The Coliseum Film Centre is closed on Mondays.
'Gladiator' continues at the Wyeside Arts Centre in Builth Wells until June 24 when there will be a chance to catch 'American Psycho', starring Christian Bale (June 25 and 26) and then 'Scream 3', starring Neve Campbell and David Arquette (June 27-29).
At Malvern Theatres today there's also a chance to see the 'U-571', which stars Harvey Keitel and Jon Bon Jovi. Then from June 23-29, check out Ben Elton's directorial debut 'Maybe Baby', starring Hugh Laurie and Joely Richardson.
