FORMER Wolves and England striker Steve Bull has joined Hereford United's coaching staff and will link up again with former manager Graham Turner, writes ADAM WORKMAN.
Turner will allow Bull to work with the United squad as much as the goal-scoring ace wants in a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Turner said: "I am sure he will be a tremendous influence and a big asset because of his stature in the game.
"He is coming purely to gain experience of coaching senior players in pursuit of his full UEFA coaching badge.
"He wants to get into the coaching scene and it gives him a good opportunity."
Bull, who scored 306 goals in 460 games and represented his country on 13 occasions, will remain with Wolves in a PR role.
He came to Hereford on Monday for the first full training session of the summer, alongside fellow new recruit and ex-Wolves team-mate, player-coach Phil Robinson.
There was another new face in the shape of 6ft 3in, 19-year-old goalkeeper Barry Andrews, a Dubliner who is on a two-week trial from Leyton Orient. One player missing was left-back Paul Sturgess, who injured his neck in a car accident, but he is expected to return to training by the end of this week.
