SCOUTS -The 1st Aston Ingham Scout Troop took part in the Millennium celebrations.They joined 600 Beavers and Cubs at the weekend camping at the West Midlands Safari Park. In a tug-of-war competition, the Aston leaders teamed up with a troop from Hereford and won their section.
TENNIS - The village's annual mixed doubles tennis tournament was held for the Morton Shield. Winners were Colin Hinton and Sue Cotterill who beat Esme Walker and Andrew Smith in a thrilling three-set final. The club held a successful open day recently and anyone interested in joining should contact Jo Watkins on 01989 720595.
