BOSBURY 2nds put in to bat by Brockhampton on a green damp wicket soon lost both openers and after seven overs were 11 for 2.

K Eyles (93) and P Ledbury (37) then progressed steadily with a stand of 82 for the third wicket.
A Evans (21) then joined Eyles and a big score seemed likely. With Evans and D Handy departing to the bowling of J Hudson (3 for 38) the prospect of a decent score receded.
C Hill (26) and B Barnes (21) ensured the tail did wag and Bosbury 2nds innings closed at 229-9.
Brockhampton did not appear to relish the chase for runs, and after ten tight overs from C Hill and P Ledbury had amassed only 11 runs for the loss of one wicket.
M Jacobs (23) with some unorthodox shots accelerated the score but once he was out wickets fell regularly to B Barnes (2 for 19), M Jones (3 for 38) and A Evans (2 for 19).
G Jacobs (24), N Ashton (15) and D Mumford (12no) attempted to accelerate the run rate but found conditions too difficult and the innings closed at 99 for nine to give Bosbury a win by 130 runs.
