A FIRE crew came to the rescue when a small child was overcome by the mini heatwave on Sunday afternoon.
The youngster was suffering from a convulsion in Hereford's Safeway car park on Sunday afternoon.
Officers, who were washing cars for charity at the time, used resuscitation equipment and administered oxygen until paramedics arrived.
The child was taken to hospital but later released.
