FOUR athletes from Hereford and County Athletic Club took part in their last open meeting of the track and field season held at Telford Athletic Track on Saturday with great success. Between them they won four silver and one bronze medal.
In the under-15 boy's Greg Winfield won silver in the long jump with 5.66 metres and the 100 metres in 12.4 secs, whilst Jamie Centenera achieved two personal bests taking the bronze medal in the long jump with 5.34 metres and in the final of the 100 metres coming eighth in 13.1 secs.
In the under-17 ladies Lisa Holloway gained three personal bests when taking the silver medal in the 200 metres in 30.0 secs, fourth in the long jump with 4.37 metres and fifth in the 100 metres final in 14.4 secs.
Anna Smith, still a junior lady, ended her season on a high with a personal best throw in the senior women's hammer of 36.68 metres to also take the silver medal.
