Bromyard 32
Chaddesley Corbett 14
BROMYARD safely negotiated the First Round Midlands of the Tetley Bitter Vase with a comfortable victory.
Richard Spence marked his return from a long injury lay-off with the opening try and, following an exchange of penalties, lock Colin Williams powered over to stretch the lead. Mark Panniers converted and then replied to a Chaddesley penalty by touching down to make the half-time score 20-6.
Flanker Giles Rivers and stand off Andy Yeomans accelerated the home scoring after the interval with tries, complemented by a conversion from Panniers, before a late consolation try and a penalty from the visitors.
