FOLLOWING the extremely successful production of 'In the Beginning' at Dore Abbey, Mad Dogs now turn their attention to 1940s New York and a production of the ever popular 'Guys and Dolls'.
This musical comedy written by Frank Loesser will be performed at The Courtyard in January 2001 and will be the company's first production in the main house.
It will be directed by John Sheppard, musically directed by Rab Handleigh (of The Courtyard) and choreographed by Sarah Matthews (of Sarah Jane's School of Dance).
The company is looking for 22 actors, singers and dancers (11 male and 11 female) to present a high energy, fast moving production. The first meetings takes place on Tuesday September 19 at 8pm at the Bishop of Hereford Bluecoat School.
Auditions for the major roles will take place on September 26 and 28. Mad Dogs will also be holding their AGM on Sunday (Sep 17) at 8pm at the Bishop of Hereford Bluecoat School.
