REMOTE Craig Cwm Du in the hills above Brecon sets the scene for a new historical drama based on RD Blackmore's Lorna Doone.
Instead of choosing a Devon setting, film-makers decided the unspoilt Mid Wales location was perfect for the 17th century-set film.
Tourism in the area is expected to benefit from the exposure and local hotels are being booked to accommodate the crew.
The star of the film is 18-year-old Amelia Warner who plays opposite Welsh actor Richard Coyle, as John Ridd.
