Bromyard Town 2
Tipton 2
BROMYARD will feel that they deserved more than a draw from this Banks's Brewery West Midlands Premier League game after creating most of the chances and twice taking the lead.
They opened the scoring with a well-constructed goal. Former Hereford United midfielder Matthew Beale provided a pin-point cross to the far post for Wayne Hoskins to head across the face of the goal where it was met by Luke Johnston, who made no mistake from close range.
Tipton came back strongly, and after a period of extended pressure they duly equalised in the 35th minute but Andy Kingston restored Bromyard's lead just before the interval.
Although the second half was closely fought Bromyard were always in control until a misunderstanding saw them lose possession and Tipton raced through to square the match again. Bromyard surged forward looking for the winner, but the visitors defended resolutely to claim a point.
