Kington Town 1 Darlaston 4

BANKS'S Brewery West Midlands Premier League leaders Darlaston extended their unbeaten run to seven matches at Kington, who had Chris King and Danny Hill sent off in separate incidents.

Darlaston took the lead after 15 minutes when a perfectly flighted free kick was headed home at the near post by Danny Bromley.

After the interval, Kington deservedly levelled when Steve Radziejowski found the corner with a low drive following a goalmouth melee but Darlaston regained the lead with a blistering Steve Blakeman free kick from the edge of the box.

The turning point came minutes later when the visitors were awarded a hotly disputed kick on the edge of the box. King's over zealous protests earned him a red card, and Michael Pope found the target.

Kington pushed everyone up but were caught on the break as Darlaston's Justin Ellitts made sure of victory with goal number four.

Hill was sent off for two bookable offences.

BELOW-strength Kington put in a fine performance after playing most of their match in the Premier Division of the Banks's Brewery West Midlands League with ten men.

Lee Ferneyhough left the field with a groin injury inside the first ten minutes and with no substitutes, the county side were left a man down.

It did not stop Town, however, who still had the better opportunities and the home keeper produced fine saves to deny Lee Franklin on three occasions.
