Bromyard hit their hosts Sutton United for six as they chalked up their third win out of three in the Premier Division of the Hereford Times Herefordshire League.

Jamie Preece fired in a hat-trick, added to strikes from Brendan Richards, Dave Gilbert and substitute Mark Berry.

The visitors were three up by half-time and despite a response from Sutton's Sean McNally early in the second half, Bromyard wrapped up a comprehensive 6-1 victory.

Defending champions Ewyas Harold maintained their unbeaten start with a 4-1 win at home to Wellington Rangers.

They crafted a 1-0 half-time lead through Stan Jones, then pulled away soon after the interval with goals from Tom Herbert and Jason Warren.

Simon Edwards reduced the deficit for Wellington but Harold made sure with a Simon Macklin strike ten minutes from time.

Hinton, promoted from Division 1 last term, continued their good form with a 2-1 win at Pegasus courtesy of goals from Matt Smalley and Craig Edwards.

Smalley netted the opener for Hinton after 17 minutes, before Frank Dobson hit the woodwork for Pegasus. Edwards doubled the visitors' advantage four minutes into the second half, which ensured that a 70th-minute strike from Tim Williams was only a consolation.

Ian Morris helped himself to a brace as visiting Westfields turned over Fownhope 3-2. Morris hit the first with a low drive from 10 yards, before the hosts equalised through Tony Richards.

Ben Vale put Westfields back ahead when he curled a left-footed effort in, only for Fownhope to draw level again with a goal from Paul Malcolm to make it 2-2 at the break. But Morris had the last word in the second half and snatched the winner following good work from Ian Jenkins.

Last season's runners-up Woofferton were held 1-1 at Civil Service, while Weston won 3-0 at Leominster.
