LANDOWNERS have called for the Welsh Development Agency to provide vital kick-start funding for smaller commercial ventures in the countryside.
The Country Landowners' Association has urged the WDA to cast its financial support net for wider to include untried but innovative and forward-looking rural enterprises geared to market demand. These are desperately needed to create new jobs and incomes to replace those now being destroyed.
