LEDBURY Magpies netball team completed a successful summer as runners-up of their division in the Worcester League, gaining promotion for the fourth consecutive year.
Magpies three end of season trophies were awarded to Jackie Dixon (Player of the Season), Nikki Brandreth (Players' Player) and Vicky Mapp (Most Improved Player).
Continuing their record of wins, Magpies played their first game in the Hereford Winter League, impressively beating their opponents Wyebridge with a 70-8 win.
Wyebridge tried hard throughout the game, but were unable to match the speed and accuracy of Magpies' passing. The team was V Mapp, D Barnes, C Hyde, J Dixon, C Stephens, T Arlott, N Brandreth and C Evans (reserve).
