St Mary's Church, at Newent, is to play host to a combined celebration of forest food and an insight into the Alpha Course, a modern introduction to Christianity.
In conjunction with the Forest Food Festival, an Alpha Supper will be held for young people in the Church Room on Tuesday, September 26, from 7pm.
An Alpha meal for all age groups will take place the following day, from 7.30pm, and also on Thursday, September 28, from 12.30pm.
As well as using locally produced food, the meals will make use of 'fairly traded' food from the Third World. For further details, ring 01531 821641.
