BULL Allstars picked up their first point of the season in the Sterling Classic Malvern Football League, although they will be kicking themselves after surrendering a commanding 4-0 lead.

Talbot Head starting their first game of the season were slow off the mark against the home side who coasted to a four goal lead before the interval. Neil Jones collected a hat-trick for the Allstars, along with a goal from James Seager they were on target for three points.

However in the second period Talbot Head certainly didn't give up and they were rewarded for their efforts with a comeback to level the scores at 4-4 thanks to a brace from Mark Robinson and one each from Gary Radley and Daniel Briscoe to see the points shared.

Fromes Hill continued their tough start to the season with an away fixture against last season's third-placed Morgan, and they started superbly well. In the opening 15 minutes Shaun Taylor and two goals from James Howard saw them comfortably take a three goal lead. However, once Morgan had recovered from the shock they pulled two goals back before the break to set up an exciting second half.

It was the Morgan who clawed their way level and then took the lead, eventually running out 5-3 winners. Although not without a fight from a very positive Fromes Hill side who will take some beating this season. Steve Field grabbed a couple for Morgan, along with goals from Chris Jones, Jamie Boswell and Richard Bird they collected the three points in this encounter.

LTFC 2000 continued their 100% record with a home win against Morgan Aero 8, they scored through Robbie Colwell (3) taking his goal tally in two games to five, Chris Grubb collected two goals and Jason Emery rounded off a good day for LTFC with his first goal of the season to take them into top position on goal difference.

Club AC 30 remain unbeaten in the League with a win over Callow End Harriers who are searching for their first point of the season.

Paul Young gave the home side the advantage with a sweet volley from 20 yards and making his home debut, Chel Perone was on target to ensure a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Mark Holloway added a third during the opening stages of the second period, however a defensive mix-up allowed a consolation goal for Callow End Harriers before Andrew Hall collected his third goal of the campaign to leave the final score 4-1 to Club AC 30.

Bell Inn 98 started their season with a win over Intermilokal at Bosbury. They had Darren Cooke to thank for their promising opening with two goals to see them take a 3-1 lead, Paul Fletcher also on target.

In the second half, what could be construed as the goal of the game, saw Tony Reynolds lob the ball into the net straight from the kick-off. then add a fourth for the home team and then collect a quick-fire hat-trick to give Bell Inn 98 a 6-2 win.

In the Under 18s Youth Division Westbury 2000 starting promisingly against Campden Town as they took a 2-0 lead into the second period. They ran out the stronger of the two teams, against a weakened Campden Side suffering from injuries. Joe Layton grabbed a brace along with goals from Liam Healy, Richard Lisseman, G Blazquez and Alastair McAll they claimed the points with a 6-0 win.

In the derby game at Hereford Lads Club, it was Tupsley Pegasus Juniors who came out victorious with a 4-1 win over their nearest rivals.
